Plot : Science at its excellence and the art of cloning is what the viewers get to see, when they watch Never Let Me Go online. The movie is about three friends, namely Ruth, Tommy and Kathy, who study at an English boarding school, Hailsham. At the school, they realize that it is their fate to provide donor organs for transplants. And it is because of this reason that they have been imprisoned on the school grounds. This information is provided to them by their principal. On hearing this, Tommy becomes fragile and Kathy falls in love with him. On the other hand, Tommy begins a relation with Ruth. Ultimately, they are allowed to leave the school grounds and wait for the unfortunate fate that awaits them. Now, they go off to certain cottage houses, where they meet their school mates. Here they find out that they are mere clones and not real humans, who have already donated their organs! One fine day, they get to hear that “Deferral” is the thing that is being offered by “The Gallery” at Hailsham, which would temporarily provide some kind of freedom to the clones and from the donation process as well. But, this is offered to the clones who are in love. Hearing this, Tommy starts creating artwork, because this is the only proof that would make people at Hailsham believe him. At this point of time, Katy discovers that Tommy and Ruth are in love. She gets jealous, fights with Ruth, breaks her friendship and leaves them, only to apply for the job of the “Carer”, someone who offers comfort to clones who have already made the organ donation. Finally, Kathy is left all alone, because Tommy and Ruth die, post organ donation!
