Plot : Ned culture is quite famous for its violent acts and criminalities, but every culture has some specialties, which go unnoticed because of such major activities. And to make you aware about this special class, Peter Mullan presents some serious drama via Neds. The inspiring tale introduces us to a very cheerful kid, John. He is keen to complete secondary school. His brother, Benny, is exceptionally famous for his criminal acts and messy behavior. But before he can start his glitzy career, he starts facing countless problems in life. Soon, John finds that owing to his brother’s acts, nobody respects his family; teachers also treat him in a rather strange manner. At school, John befriends Julian, who belongs to a middle-class family. After facing rejection from teachers and Julian, John finds ultimate respect and fame in the company of a gang leader, Fergie. Gradually, John becomes deeply involved in Glasgow’s culture, and within a few months, he gets ultimate fame amongst the practitioners of Ned culture, which is more known for its violent acts. Almost all the teenagers of his school are fascinated with this group. With the course of time, all the teachers start isolating John from the other students of the class, because most of them are troubled by territorial gangs. In this way, the boy goes away from all familial relationships. Will John ever be able to return to normalcy? Can Ned culture fetch true respect for John?
