Plot : Mystery Team, a comedy flick directed by Dan Eckman, tells the tale of three child-detectives as they strive to unravel an adult mystery. Oakdale’s The Mystery Team consisting of three seven year old kid detectives, who were dedicated to solving child-sized mysteries, was a favorite of the town’s people. The team included Jason (Donald Glover) as "the Master of Disguise," Duncan (D.C. Pierson) as "the Boy Genius" and Charlie (Dominic Dierkes) as "the Strongest Kid In Town". Although, the three have now turned 18, they are still trapped in their childhood, mush to the distress of the town. Then, when a little girl seeks the help of The Mystery Team to find the killers of her parents, Jason Duncan and Charlie are convinced that this is their chance to prove their crime solving skills as well as regain the respect of their peers. The boys take up the challenge but soon land in deep trouble as they realize the intricacies of dealing with real and actually dangerous criminals.
