Plot : Mr. Brooks is a mystery drama movie directed by Bruce A. Evans. Earl Brooks, a respected and successful business man, is rewarded with Portland’s Man of the Year. He is actually a serial killer known as "Thumb Print Killer". In a successful attempt to keep this ugly secret under control, he has been attending AA meetings for two years, but unfortunately his past companion Marshall, who has been the better half of Brooks in all these criminal acts has reappeared to begin the blood shed along with him. The forceful attempts of Marshall encourage Brooks to kill a couple, while they were making love, followed by the capturing of his photographs by someone who also falls victim to his dreadful offense. On one side the movie shows the detective’s problems, which she encounters while investigating this murder story and on the other side is her own messy divorce and another criminal’s case, who has vowed revenge from her few years back and is after her now.
