Plot : A slightly more twisted and definitely, scarier remake of the 1980’s movie with the same name is coming your way. Mother’s Day is actually a bit different from the previous movie, for one thing it promises to be full of horror sequences that will viewers jump with fear. The movie is about an obsessive, psychopathic woman living alone in her house. Her three sons are hardcore criminals and, are absconding under pressure from the police authorities after they botched up their latest attempt at robbing a bank. One fine day, the three outlaws return to their hometown to find that their mother’s life is in tatters, undergoing a severe finance crisis, as she had to forfeit her home to its new residents. The vengeful mother is delighted to see her offspring return to their nest. She exhorts them to exact her revenge and vacate the house. The new family arrives at the house for a fateful birthday party, which might turn out to be their last party together as a family. Thereon, begins the hostage scenarios that reach the new heights of depravity, shock and a nonstop dosage of thrills and chills. The brothers take the family members hostage and, their evil mother plans a daring escape for the three of them. But, not before getting even with the new family. The police are closing in on the brothers, but since, they are locked in a death match with a whole family, the onus remains with their mother. And, it is clear that she will do anything to protect her offspring, even if it comes down to violence. But, somebody will have to pay the ultimate debt.
