Plot : This crime drama follows the life of one man, who rose to fame, for all the wrong reasons. The ill-deeds of French mobster, Jacques Mesrine (Vincent Cassel), who cocked a snook at the reigning authorities during the 60s and 70s, is the anti hero. It was due to his growing cartel, that he earned for himself, the infamy of being the No. 1 enemy of the public. And not to forget, there was also the ploy that was implemented to keep the police on their toes, for quite a while. He considered those to be more promising options for the future. With Paul along his side, both started working under the aegis of the gangster, Guido. As time flew by, Jacques climbed the ladder up to establish an oligarchic rule in the world of crime. This glorious period also marked the entry of his close companion and beau, Jeanne Schneider, who turned out to be a faithful aide for him during his heydays. Despite braving prison escapes, he did become the lethal target of the Parisian police, and this marked the end to the sordid saga of a man, who dared to fiddle around with things as if it were just a board-game.
