Plot : The documentary ‘Man on Wire’ is directed by James Marsh. The movie throws light on a French tightrope walker Philippe Petit, who performs his daring acts on the rope. James showcased an incident of this acrobat in the movie, which was occurred on August 7, 1974. Philippe daily spends 45 on practicing his art, walking, dancing, genuflecting, and lying on the wire. Once, Philippe performed a dangerous and illegal stunt of his life. He tied a thin wire between two towers of World Trade Center that is about 1,350 feet above the ground, and then walked on the wire from one building to another, kneeling down and performing his various acrobatic acts on the wire. It was the hair-raising performance that anyone ever observed before. When the police authority learned about this act they immediately arrested him.
