Plot : Love Etc., as the title suggests, is a film about love and things more than that. Five stories, real stories, come together to tell not a story but a series of events that comfortably fall inside the grips of learning what life is all about. Everyone experiences love, and everyone experiences hardship that comes with love. But love doesn’t just bring hardships; it brings joy, too. If Love Etc. talks about a newlywed romance, it also discusses a recently divorced couple; if it brings teen romance, it also puts in line lives of two people who remained in a marriage, a relationship, for as long as one could remember. And, it has a man, too, who decides to walk the road to parenthood without actually getting into a relationship. His search to find true love throughout his life has left him frustrated, down to the point that he has decided to move on to parenting children without ever feeling the need of a partner. The film is a take on lives that are amidst us, or rather, that ‘is’ us. It does not bank upon emotions to tell what is downright emotional, but rather puts characters that are sincerely believable. The film observes characters quietly, unperturbed by the fact that they have a burning urgency lying beneath them, urgency to catch up with the moving life, urgency to find solace in people outside their own partners (in one case) and urgency to find peace within. Watch Love Etc. online, which is like a breeze in a spring season that caresses a lover’s heart without making any serious gestures.
