Plot : “Lourdes” is a tear jerking drama directed by Jessica Hausner. The story of this heartwarming flick revolves around Christine (Sylvie Testud). She is a wheelchair confined woman and really depressed with her isolated life. She desires to escape her isolation in the every possible way she can. In order to acquire a win over her lonely life, she decides to carry out a journey to Lourdes, which is basically a pilgrimage place in Pyrenees Mountains. It is believed that long time ago, a miracle has taken place at this sacred place.
