Plot : Loren Cass is a musical drama directed by 21-year-old independent filmmaker Chris Fuller which took ten years to complete. The film, which is the debut feature of the director, centers on three adolescents who try to bring their life back on track after the rebellions of 1996 in St. Petersburg. Jason (Travis Mynard) is a skinhead who along with his friend Cale (Chris Fuller) plays a prank on a black man. It never crosses the minds of the two young men that the incident would result in a racial conflagration. Later, Cale offers to take out a young waitress named Nicole (Kayla Tabish) for dinner, but due to the racial tension the two are forced to have dinner at the very same restaurant where Nicole works. As the film progresses we see the three central characters as well as several secondary characters including The Suicide Kid, The Punk Kid, and The Fight Kid, among others, being snowed under by the desperation and racial tension that surrounds them.
