Plot : The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is a comedy movie wrapped with adventure. The movie is a parody as well as homage to Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Internationally acclaimed oceanographer Steve Zissou is desperate to revenge the death of his partner Esteban du Plantier who had died while they were making a documentary. He claims that Esteban was eaten up by a Jaguar Shark. Thus he and his crew--Team Zissou set off for an expedition to hunt down this possibly non-existent creature in his ship Belafonte. The crew consists of a number of odd people. The crew comprises of a beautiful but pregnant journalist, Zissou's brilliant wife (Anjelica Houston), her ex-husband who is his arc nemeses, a guitarist who sings David Bowie songs in Portuguese and an airline pilot from Kentucky who claims to be his son. These all set on the adventurous journey to find the shark and kill it. This is also his new project for which he had raised funds after a lot of struggle. On the way they encounter pirates finally rendering them without any funds to support their project. Let’s see if they survive.
