Plot : Let the Right One In, a horror based thrilling romantic drama directed by Tomas Alfredson, is about a disregarded and bullied boy discovering love and retribution through a beautiful but unusual girl who turns out to be a vampire. Oskar (Kåre Hedebrant) is a 12 year old weak and introvert boy incapable of shaking off his bullying classmates. His wish for a friend is fulfilled when he meets his new next door neighbor, Eli (Lina Leandersson), a 12 year old girl. However, Eli’s arrival coincides with a number of disappearances and ghastly murders and this as well as the distinctive behavior of Eli makes Oskar realizes that she is a vampire. However Despite this, their friendship grows stronger and the two youngsters soon develop feelings of love as they become inseparable. However, even Oskar’s unbending loyalty can’t stop Eli from moving on as otherwise she is sure to face death. But when Oskar faces severe difficulties, Eli comes back to help him out in her own way.
