Plot : At the age of twelve, Owen is perhaps the most unlucky school going boy whose life is as barren as the snowy landscape outside the window. He is constantly bullied at school, and leads a life of a loner. His parents are divorced and this contributes to their negligence towards Owen. He spends most of his days planning vengeance against all those who try to make fun of him and he spends most of his evenings constantly keeping a vigilant eye on the sudden invaders of the neighbouring place of residence. It is at this point of time that he notices a cute girl named Abby. He learns that she lives with her dad, who is never to be seen. Abby is only spotted on the streets at night and that too barefoot. This makes Owen wonder how a girl can be immune to the chilling cold. When both of them meet, their acquaintance is such that they start sharing a wonderful bond. Simultaneously, the town is blighted with some very hideous murders and this is the point of time at which Abby’s father disappears, leaving the little girl in an absolute state of shock.
