Plot : Legendary is a sports centric drama movie that tells the story of a high school boy named Cal Chetley who battles against all odds to bring together his family members. The movie opens with Cal residing with his mother in the small village of Oklahoma. After the death of his father, Cal’s brother, Mike leaves the family, and vows not to return. As the plot unfolds, Cal makes up his mind to participate in the school wrestling competition, along with the team. Being a son of a wrestler, Cal dreams of making a mark in the competition. And under the guidance of his neighbor, he begins to hone his skills. But in the course of time, he realizes the need of someone from his own family, and who could be a better trainer than his own brother, Mike. As a matter of fact, Cal approaches his brother to help him. But his adamant brother rejects the offer. From there on, the storyline takes a new turn, and brings out the emotional fervor of a boy yearning to bring his brother back home. This legendary movie has nicely utilized the subject matter of wrestling to churn out the essence of living together in a family. The movie is filled with some utterly heart wrenching moments that follow when Cal keeps on trying relentlessly to reunite his family. This movie is a realistic representation of how a family goes astray after the departure of the head. It is also a saga of how love can bring back the lost happiness in a family.
