Plot : Director Neil LaBute has beautifully told this tale of neighborhood feud between LAPD Officer Abel Turner and his new neighbors, Chris and Lisa Mattson, who happen to be an interracial couple. Abel, who is a single widowed father of two children, is considered to be an extremely strict and intimidating person. He starts a cat and mouse fight with his young neighabors as he disapproves not only of their interracial relationship but alsoax of their having fun together. Determined to throw them out of the neighborhood of Lakeview Terrace, he starts harassing the newlyweds. However the couple decides to fight back his unjust and persistent intrusions into their lives, which further complicates matters.
