Plot : “L' ennemi Intime” is a historical war documentary directed by Florent Emilio Siri. It is a drama that chronicles a group of French military people in Algerian independence struggle. This flick uses a realistic approach to develop a heroic and passionate accusation of war. That decade old war is brought in limelight by this flick, to shed light on the past colonial wrongdoings that is even out of focus of previous generation. The movie starts with the accession of Lieutenant Terrien (Benoit Magimel), in the farthest parts of Algeria. He is provided with deadweight of wiping out the rebels' leader. He possesses his own principals but these may not endure in this atrocious of conflicts. The camera captures the barren, desolate look of foreign landscape that reminds us of the madness of trapping an unwilling opponent. Terrien’s major antagonist is his own disciplinarian Dougnac (Albert Dupontel), whose belief is quite contrary from his own principles. Dougnac assumes that brutality could be handled only by brutality itself. Moral procedures could not be adopted in answer of cruel killings. So, in all L' ennemi Intime video demonstrates a very modern and distinctive look at wars.
