Plot : Kisses is simply a sweet, beautiful movie that leaves you asking for more with its 77-minute of splendor. Writer and director of the movie Lance Daly, is absolutely superb in all aspects of film-making and has chosen a wonderful cast for his project. The story throws light on two 10-year old Irish kids, who escape from their home to discover a world that is intriguing, magical and dangerous, all at the same time. Explore the streets of Dublin as the two kids, Kylie and Dylan, cruise through the city on Christmas Eve. They embark on a boat ride, as they go through the beauteous waterways of Dublin. They undergo a mixed ride, that includes some moments of joyful highs, blended with dangers that lurk just around the corner. Watch their faces light up as they free themselves from the bounds of their homes and buy wheelies from a shopping mall. Bob Dylan, too, makes an appearance in the film, as he meets the children in the street and hands them a beer. Daly has come up with some amazing camera work, where the landscape simply blooms into color from black and white, as the children get engrossed in the magic. You would feel the terror that the kids face, as they escape strange, sinister-looking men, who sure have hideous designs. Though, the kids are quite new to acting, they have delivered stupendous performances. Kelly O’Neill, who plays Kylie, is natural at acting and certainly has a bright future in the business. Shane Cury as Dylan delivers a scintillating performance too.
