Plot : Janky Promoters is a funny comedy flick directed by Marcus Raboy that revolves around two shady concert promoters. Russell Redds (Ice Cube) and Jellyroll (Mike Epps) are self-described "Modesto's finest". The two friends with zero promotional experience get a chance to book a renowned rap artist. But the trouble lays in the fact that neither Russell nor Jellyroll has had any experience in promoting anything. Things are further complicated for the duo by their pot-growing neighborhood opponent Mondo (Darris Love) and Russell’s son (Little JJ), who has a contract with the old man.
