Plot : Directed by Sean Penn, ‘Into the wild’ is an adventurous drama movie based on a true story and the bestselling book by Jon Krakauer. Chris McCandless, a promising college student, the topper and athlete from Emory University, completes graduation in 1992. Soon after, he gives up his possessions to charity, even his identifications as well, and leaves for his destined place Alaska. His sole aim is to leave the social life and get back to nature. Into the wild video shows how Chris encounters a series of passengers that shape his life. Meanwhile his parents have no idea about where he is, but due to already troubled relationships with his parents, they aren’t much distressed with his disappearance. Finally, when he makes it to Alaska, Chris finds an abandoned bus and boards it for nearly few months, in order to stay away from the land, where he ultimately runs out of supplies and becomes trapped, leading to a heart-rending end.
