Plot : Based on the book of author Cornelia Funke with the same name, Inkheart is a fantasy based family adventure, directed by Iain Softley. A young girl named Meggie (Eliza Bennett) discovers that her father Mo (Brendan Fraser) has the ability to bring to life the characters of a book, by reading them aloud. However, Mo is kidnapped by a power-hungry villain released from an old children’s fable, and wants to bring to life other villainous characters. Meggie, along with her real and imaginary friends sets out on a story-book type adventure to rescue her father and close the book on the dreaded villain once and for all.
