Plot : The order of the Universe has always pointed towards the existence of a greater power, hidden in plain sight; but the signs are visible to everyone. There is a system and everybody follows it, period. But what happens when someone fights against that very system, trying to overcome it by sheer determination. The movie, House of the Rising Sun, explores this paradoxical dilemma with a subtle, yet effective modern twist. An ex-cop, Ray is repenting his old ways and working in a nightclub that happens to be owned by a mobster. Ray is content with his life and job, after quitting his crooked ways. But the system wreaks havoc in his life when the owner’s son is shot dead by armed intruders, who then proceed to rob the place and flee. All of a sudden, the spotlight turns to Ray and his past life. His previous reputation makes him the center of unwanted attention from the mob and the police as well. Ray’s boss, well aware of his past associations embarks on a manhunt to trace him down, while the police hunt him too.
