Plot : The annual Hood to Coast Relay Race is the world’s longest relay race, in which 12,000 runners participate as a part of 1,000 teams, in a staggering test of running skills, human endurance and personal motivation. The race consists of teams of twelve persons each, with each member required to run three legs of the 197 mile trek from Mount Hood to the Oregon Coast. Director Christoph Baaden presents an inspirational documentary that follows the trail of four teams, as they embark on this epic journey across the breadth of Oregon. Winning isn’t everything, nor is it the most important thing, as the camera takes you on a journey where personal ghosts are exorcized and human endurance is tested to its limit.
