Plot : Happy Tears is a heart throbbing drama directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein. The sisters, Jayne and Laura come back home to take care of their debilitated seventy-something-year-old father, Joe. They are on the way to endeavor the first man of their lives but before they could handle the situation properly, they encounter some big surprises. The house of their father is the place where they brought up, lived their childhood and spent the early precious moments of their lives. While shuffling through their childhood memories, the duo realize that the lives they are enjoying till now is not so perfect. According to Laura, Joe requires utmost care as he is seriously ill while Jayne believes that his condition is not so critical. In spite of the illness, Joe is still longing to play his old guitar. The diseases widower even has a new brazen and lively lady friend Shelly. But soon the family reaches a debilitated state as both the sisters now have to juggle between the troubles of their lives and that of their father’s live.
