Plot : ‘Gigante’ is a foreign romantic comedy directed by Adrian Biniez. The Gigante trailers indicate that it is a tale of fixation and surveillance. The flick follows the story of a shy supermarket security guard, Jara. When the sun falls down, Jara kicks the tires to keep a watch on the security camera monitors at Suburban Montevideo supermarket. One day, while keeping an eye on monitor he suddenly notices a charming and pretty woman Julia. Her beauty fascinates Jara so much that he just transfixes on her. Julia is a cleaning girl and scrubs the ingress during graveyard shift. She is unaware of Jara’s crush on her. The bashful guard’s infatuation for Julia inflates day by day to such an extent that he starts following her outside work as well. His entire daily routine begins to centre at Julia only. He watches her while she visits to beach, goes for movie or meets some other man too. But then under some circumstances he realizes that he should either give up his obsession for Julia or should find the guts to speak to her about his love.
