Plot : Fragments, a crime drama flick directed by Rowan Woods, tells the tale of a group of strangers who after surviving a random shooting, form a unique relationship with each other. On a normal day at a Los Angeles diner, a deranged man starts shooting customers at random leaving the survivors of the tragedy deeply affected, with each of them reacting in a different manner towards the accident. While the young schoolgirl Anne Hagen (Dakota Fanning) gains popularity at school by narrating her own version of the shooting, her friend Jimmy Jaspersen (Josh Hutcherson), prefers to remain silent about the incident and shuts himself off from the outside world. Waitress Carla Davenport (Kate Beckinsale) prefers to ignore her baby so that she can enjoy several coarse relationships. Dr. Bruce Laraby (Guy Pearce) tries to treat his wife’s migraine with experimental treatment after he loses his self-confidence. And Charlie Archenault (Forest Whitaker), a compulsive gambler is convinced about being lucky in the game and looses all his money in gambling.
