Plot : Ned is a writer for television, who writes seedy dramas. The TV shows he writes for are semi-pornographic, which is not completely satisfying to him. His family comprises of his beautiful wife Jeannie, (Helen Hunt) and his two sons, Callen and Ethan. ‘Every Day’ is a comedy drama from Richard Levine that looks deeper into a New York couple’s everyday life. The couple’s romantic relationship is in a deep stress. Their strained relationship is not helped at all with all that follows. Ned’s fifteen-year-old son has recently told him that he is a gay, whereas his eleven-year-old son is afraid of pretty much everything. Things take an even more difficult route when Jeanne brings to their family her sick and embittered father, Ernie (played by Brian Dennehy), from Detroit. His arrival only brings extra stress in their already strained marriage. But things do not take an ominous turn, until Robin comes into their life. Robin (Carla Gugino) is Ned’s co-worker, who makes a move towards him. The temptations are too big to resist and it sends Ned’s mind spiraling. Every Day video beautifully shows the struggle to survive and takes a brilliant look on issues such as commitment and love.
