Plot : Directed by Jan Troell, Everlasting moments is the dramatic story of a woman set in the early 1900’s in Sweden against the backdrop of social change, unrest, war and poverty. Maria Larsson (Maria Heiskanen) is a young working class woman who wins a camera in a lottery and is her decision to retain it, allows her to see the world with a different view.Sebastian Pedersen (Jesper Christensen), a charming photographer who encourages Maria to keep the camera also teaches her to use the device even as he starts to have romantic feelings for her. However this bliss in her life is short-lived as her alcoholic and womanizing husband, Sigge (Mikael Persbrandt) starts feeling insecure with Maria’s changed perception about life.
