Plot : Eroded tells the story of two siblings, trying to come to terms with the loss of their family members in a tragic accident. As the title rightly suggests, their lives are suddenly eroded and uprooted from what they had being taking for granted since such a long time. The main lead of the movie is Billy Reid. The story revolves around how Billy tries his best to re-conciliate with the dismal truth of his life. Both Billy and his sister Sheila attempt to deal with the tragedy together and endeavor to move forward with their lives. The movie creates a serious and suspense-filled atmosphere. Anyone who’s ever lost a loved one would totally and completely relate to the perplexed emotions of Billy. He feels a sudden and imperishable hollow in his life. It’s like he is trapped in a realm of his memories; as if he were standing at the edge of something with nothing to hold on to, and the wind kept blowing and pushing him more towards the edge. Sheila makes attempts to help her brother come out of the nostalgia but all in vain. She wants to help him, but there is no one who can actually help Billy get over this depression other than himself. The tagline of the movie aptly conveys, “When left unhealed, the past can destroy our lives!” This touching and ardent drama is sure to strike a few chords in your heart.
