Plot : Enlighten Up! is a documentary film directed by the Boston based renowned documentary film maker Kate Churchill. The film tests Kate’s a rock-solid confidence in the transformative power of yoga as she follows a skeptic's journey into the world of yoga. Kate’s subject Nick Rosen, is a Manhattan based journalist and harbors a deep-seated skepticism and resistance to yoga which he thinks to be just another system of thought and physio-spiritual regeneration. As he delves deeper into the investigation of Yoga, he discovers numerous inconsistencies and contradictions, which instead of making him an instant convert, take him farther away from the traditional healing method. In the process Kate and Nick go through a rocky, multi-layered confrontation about their beliefs, identities, and lifestyles.
