Plot : ‘Edge of Darkness’ is a drama thriller, directed by Martin Campbell. The movie is about a veteran slaying detective, Thomas Craven. Thomas works for Boston Police department and is living a peaceful life. However, all of sudden he discovers himself in a tight spot, when he comes across to death of his only daughter, 24 years old Emma. As being a single father, he finds it damn difficult to take the bull by the horns. It has also been shown in Edge of Darkness trailers that this accident leaves the detective in a thought provoking situation. Due to murder of his advocate daughter on the steps of his home, everyone considers him as target of the killer. But soon a strange speculation occupies his mind and he sets to a mission, in order to find out the truth about his daughter’s mysterious life and her murder. This investigation of him drags him into a threatening transparent world of communal cover-ups, murders and where government is intended to be defrauded. He also comes across to a secret government agent Darius Jedburgh, who has been tasked to clean up the evidence.
