Plot : Dressed is an inspiring documentary of a self-made man. Nary Manivong’s biggest dream in life was to showcase his collection at the New York Fashion Week. However, the odds were stacked up pretty high against him and this seemed but a distant and unlikely dream. This fourteen-year old, from Weinland Park, Ohio, had weathered several vagaries of life, including being homeless. However, he never let go of his dreams. No matter what kind of troubles came along with each passing moment of life, Nary refused to let his hopes and aspirations shatter. The documentary follows Nary’s rise from his destitute condition, to an achiever, who finally fulfilled his ambitions and attained what he had always aspired for. His success story is set against the backdrop of the New York fashion industry - the cut-throat world, where one has to exceed himself, in order to command respect. The movie also features interviews and records opinions as well as comments of other designers and experts from the industry, to gauge what it takes to make it big in the world of fashion.
