Plot :
Downloading Nancy, a thrilling drama directed by Johan Renck, is about an unhappy wife who tries to get herself killed but falls in love with the guy whom she asks to do the job. Nancy Stockwell (Maria Bello), a woman nearing her forties, has become tired of her relationship with her husband, Albert (Rufus Sewell). So, she one day leaves a note for Albert, informing him that she has gone to visit an old friend. However, Albert starts worrying when Nancy doesn’t call even after several days have passed and he soon finds out that Nancy has lied to him. Meanwhile, Nancy starts an on-line relationship with a man named Louis Farley (Jason Patric). She learns that Louis is passionate about violent sex and decides to meet him, convinced that he is the one who will kill her and thus bring an end to her miseries. However, when Nancy and Louis finally meet, they instantly fall in love with Albert trying to salvage whatever is left.
