Plot : Doomsday is sci-fi based action thriller, directed by Neil Marshall, about a team of people who try to avoid a calamity that threatens the future of humanity. It has been many years since a prominent nation was quarantined, with the hope that the spread of the lethal and highly contagious virus nicknamed "Reaper” could be stopped. But, thirty years later the “Reaper” resurfaces in a major city and is more lethal than ever. As a result a selected group of professionals who are led by Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), return to the country where the virus was first detected and which has since been sealed-off. The entire world waits with bated breath, as the team tries to find a cure for the virus and save the human kind from impending doom. Their search leads Eden and her fearless team into a world that makes them realize that hell indeed exists, and they set out on a journey that will take them directly into its black, poisoned heart.
