Plot : Deck The Halls is a holiday comedy based on the Christmas spirit and neighbor rivalry. In a small New England town Steve (Matthew Broderick) and his family leads a well organized normal life. His family includes his wife Kelly (Kristen Davis) and two children- daughter Madison and son Carter. Steve is famous in whole town for his Christmas celebrations. For years he has been following a number of Christmas traditions though all his family members are fed up with them. This year too he has formulated a plan including lot many things like ritual tree harvesting, caroling night, shopping and much more. His plans are foiled when his new neighbor Buddy Hall (Danny DeVito), a man with big dreams plans to create the biggest holiday light display in the world that will even be visible from the space. This plan comes as a respite for the bored family of Steve who joins hands with the Halls to decorate their new house with beautiful patterns of lights. This all angers Steve as his status as the Christmas king comes under threat due to Buddy’s escalated plans. Let’s see where this rising rivalry takes their Christmas season.
