Plot : ‘Dead Silence’ is a horror, thriller and mystery, directed by James Wan. The movie involves the ghost story of a fictional village, Ravens Fair. It was in 1940s, when a ventriloquist, Mary Shaw, went mad and had been alleged for kidnapping a young boy, who yelled during her act that she’s a fraud. For this felony, the villagers, after cutting down her tongue, killed her and buried her along with her children i.e. a huge collection of vaudeville dolls. They thought as she had set down in peace, but actually it was the silence before a terrible blast. After Mary’s death, there started a chain of mysterious murders in the village, involving those families that were responsible for Mary’s death. The truth was explored after a newly wed couple, Jamie and Lisa, far from surroundings of their cursed hometown, received a weird package. The Dead Silence video proceeds as Jamie finds his wife mysteriously killed in his apartment. The police consider Jamie as the prime suspect, but things become clear as Jamie goes back to his hometown to collect proofs of his innocence.
