Plot : Dare is a movie about the self exploration journey of three different teenagers. This movie is based on the director Adam Sulky’s successful short film that was released in 2005. Alexa, Ben and Johnny are three teenagers in the last semester of their high school. After completing this they would all graduate as mature adults. Before this they decide to take the most dangerous risks of their lives. They explore the extreme dark, funny and strange parts of their adolescent age. This provides them a self examination of themselves which opens their eyes that all of them were actually not what they appeared to be.Alexa (Emily Rossum) is a studious and smart good girl who is longing to come out of this materialistic world of her. Another one is Ben (Ashley Springer) who is alone and has to deal with his sexuality. The third teenager of the group is good-looking and rich Johnny (Zach Gilford) who has a bad-boy image but faces difficulty in maintaining it. These three teens finally decide to tear open the imaginary shell and come out of it. In this journey they finally overcome the stereotypes and explore the sexual boundaries amongst them.
