Plot : “Couples Retreat” is a side-splitting comedy directed by Peter Billingsley. As the name suggests, the story of the flick revolves around couples who have come to a far-off tropical island to revive the charm in their married lives. The group consists of four couples including Jason and Cynthia, Dave and Ronnie, Joey and Lucy, divorced Shane and his girlfriend Trudy. Firstly, Jason and Cynthia decide to move to a couples’ retreat, Eden in order to sort out the problems of their relationship. To make this trip economical, they also invite their friends to join them, saying them that the therapy is optional and they can enjoy the other benefits of resort. After little reluctance, all of them agree to book a vacation trip to that island. But after reaching there, all of them find that the therapy session is compulsory for everyone. They all decide to go for it so that they can cherish the other offers of island. But as the therapy stars working, the couples who previously used to think that their relationship is fine, discover their problems.
