Plot : Directed by P.J. Hogan, Confessions of a Shopaholic, is a romantic comedy about a girl who is hopelessly addicted to shopping. Rebecca Bloomwood’s (Isla Fisher) habit of shopping on impulse, is taking a heavy toll on her finances. Life takes an unexpected turn when a drunken letter-mailing mix-up, lands Rebecca the job of writing for a financial magazine. As she starts off with her new job, she manages to strike a cord with the people due to her unconventional approach and she starts getting critical acclaim, public success, and the admiration of her supportive boss Luke (Hugh Dancy). However, the nearer she comes to her life’s ultimate goal of writing for the renowned fashion magazine Alette, the more she begins reassess her priorities in life and has to determine whether conquering her shopaholic nature would make her truly happy..
