Plot : Cloverfield is a science fiction movie full of action and mystery directed by Matt Reeves. The story is set in New York City, where a group of friends are enjoying a farewell party thrown for their friend Rob (Michael Stahl-David), who is to join his new coveted job in Japan. Rob has a fall out with his current girlfriend Beth (Odette Yustman), after she comes to the party with another man and then rushes out in anger. Just then the city comes under attack from a dangerous monster of unknown origin that is bigger than a skyscraper. Rob and his friends Lily (Jessica Lucas), Marlena (Lizzy Caplan), and Hud (T.J. Miller) set out to find and rescue Beth before the monster destroys one of the worlds highest populated cities.
