Plot : Cinderella man is a biographical movie that signifies how strong will-power can make a person do miracles. The movie is set in the times of the Great Depression which was the worst economic downturn in the U.S. history. James J. Braddock (Russell Crowe) was a heavyweight boxer in the 1930s who had been forcibly retired after he broke his hand in his previous fight. His wife Mae (Renee Zellweger) always wanted that he should leave boxing before getting a permanent injury. Though he worked at the docks to support his family, he still had a strong desire to box. Time went by but one day his old manager turned up to him with an offer to fight as a last minute substitute in a fight against the second ranked world Boxer. Braddock was already desperate to fight, thus he accepted. What happened next made every one surprised beyond explanation. He made a miraculous comeback by defeating him. The next, he was back in the ring and won fights against all other contenders who were younger and stronger than him. For the title he got a chance to fight Max Baer (Craig Bierko) and came out as a champion.
