Plot : Cemetery Junction is a drama film with a dash of comedy in its plotline. The film’s backdrop is set in the Britain of 1970’s, in a Reading suburb, named Cemetery Junction. This is a coming-of-age story, revolving around the life of three working-class lads and best friends, namely Freddie, Bruce and Snork. With no real motto in life, they are just spending their time joking around, drinking, brawling and teasing girls all day. However, amongst the three, Freddie is the one who is a bit keen to leave his working-class world, while the other two boys are satisfied with the way and pace their life is moving. Eventually, Freddie lands up a new job as a door-to-door life insurance salesman and one day, comes across his old childhood friend Julie, who turns out to be his employer’s daughter. At the same time, Freddie gets to know that Julie is no more single, but engaged to the company’s top seller. Soon afterwards, the plot takes an interesting twist, which brings the gang of these close friends to such a troublesome point, where life doesn’t remain smooth sailing anymore.
