Plot : Case 39 is a horrifying tale that involves Emily, who works for the betterment of the society. She comes across a girl named Lilith, who, she believes is being tortured by her parents. She is given the task of finding out the reason of Lilith’s becoming an under-performer at school. Lilith’s parents attempt to burn her in their household oven and Emily rescues her, with the help of detective Mike. Upon Lilith’s request, Emily takes the girl to her home and starts taking care of her. Soon, a boy, whose case is also been taken care of by Emily, kills his parents. Investigators find out that the boy was called from Emily’s phone on the night when this event happened. Emily gets the shock of her life when, on a visit to Lilith’s parents, she is confronted with the reality that Lilith is actually a devil, who uses the thoughts of people to kill them. What follows is the death of Lilith’s parents, with Lilith herself responsible for both the deaths. Before dying, the couple tells Emily that the only way to put Lilith to death is to kill her while she’s sleeping. Emily tries to do so but all in vain. Lilith, further, goes on to kill Mike in a strange event, which involves Mike shooting a bullet in his head, himself. Emily then resorts to kill Lilith somehow and when the two are being taken by the cops to a safe location, Emily takes Lilith to a different path in her car. The movie ends with Lilith being drowned by Emily, along with the car.
