Plot : ‘Brother’ is a drama war and thriller tale, directed by Jim Sheridan. The movie features two brothers, Captain Sam Cahill and the younger one Tommy Cahill, that are exactly opposite to each other. Sam is a loyal family man who has married to his high school sweetheart, Grace. He has two young daughters with her. On the other hand, Tommy is a charming guy but a wanderer who has just come out of jail and he’s always gotten by on wit and charm. He slides into his role as secret agent of family on his first night after freedom in a grand dinner at home that is arranged as a farewell party to Sam, who is going for his next tour of duty to Afghanistan. Then comes a twist after departure of Sam, and a cloud of gloom blasts on Cahill family when they come across to news of Sam’s death due to shot down of his black hawk helicopter in mountains. And then Tommy tries to fill in for his big brother by undertaking newfound responsibility for him, parents, Grace, and the children.
