Plot : Broken Hill is a dramatic movie, directed by Dagen Merrill. The story of this movie revolves around a teenage boy Tommy, who is a gifted composer and aspires to be accepted by renowned Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Tommy was born and brought up on a rocky, drought- ridden sheep-station, but he dreams to be a great musician. He has to do work at the station to soothe his demanding father. Then he comes into the contact of his new classmate Kat, a bold and brash beauty. Kat doesn’t notice her at first but Tommy attempts to grab her attention and his antics put him into such a trouble that he has to go to jail. Fortunately, he escapes from the prison and decides for community service at the local prison. And soon he was landed in an audition for the elite music conservatory by his music teacher and mentor.
