Plot : With super hit movies such as ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘The 40 year old virgin’ to his credit, producer Judd Apatow brings to you ‘Bridesmaids’, which has been written by the duo of Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wing, and directed by Paul Feig. The story revolves around Annie, whose recently-engaged best friend Lillian, is all set to tie the knot with her fiancé. This news comes to Annie at the time when she is herself going through turmoil in her life. She’s unfortunately low on money and also has a troubled love life. It is obviously not possible for a human being to put his ongoing troubles on hold and continue with something amusing. This is the problem which Annie is confronted with, as she wishes to set aside her financial and personal troubles, and be the Maid of Honour at Lillian’s wedding. The movie depicts how Annie manages to take care of her best friend’s feelings, while trying to manage her own life’s troubles at the same time. ‘Bridesmaids’ is the last film of Jill Clayburgh, as the actress passed away, suffering from leukemia, in November 2010.
