Plot : The chronicle drawn in this film is unlike many tales that enfold sweet romantic sagas, designed in a princely town. The film revolves around two young sisters and Lord Bluebeard. The centre of attention is the book on “Bluebeard” that recounts his life’s journey with his many wives, who tend to disappear within a short span of time. Unable to control their urge, the two sisters start to read the story of the unusual character. After the death of their father, Marie-Catherine and Anne (the sisters) are left with nothing in their hands. To gain some stature and comfort in life, the sisters decide to pay a visit to the gathering to be hosted by Lord Bluebeard. He is yet again in the search of a wife after the death of his previous soulmate. Though it is widely believed that Bluebeard kills his wives himself and then heads on to find the new one, still the sisters stake their fate. During this time, Lord Bluebeard and the younger sister of the two, Marie-Catherine become emotionally close and get married. Bluebeard usually leaves his castle for attending business meets, and so Marie lives alone for that while. Lord Bluebeard seems to be contented and glad to have found Marie.
