Plot : Black Book is a Paul Verhoeven directed World War II film which goes into flashback when Ronnie realizes that she has seen the school teacher (Rachel) whom she has bumped. She remembers the days of World War when Rachel was hiding from Nazi’s in Netherlands. When her hiding place gets disclosed she runs off with her savior. She gets into a boat with her family to reach the liberated southern part of the country. However, in the way, they get trapped by the German SS who kills everybody. Rachel was the lone survivor and she manages to come out of the place. Later, she joins the resistance group. She changes her name to Ellis de Vries and meets SS-official Ludwig Muntze. She falls in love with Müntze because she finds him good. She also gets close to Dutch colleague Ronnie who works to satisfy the sexual desires of Germans and takes stolen gifts from them. They get to know that Van Gein is the person who betrayed Ellis and other Jews. They plan out to kidnap him but something goes out of their plan. Things changes, taking an ugly turn which one can only know after he gets his hands on Black Book video.
