Plot : Are We Done Yet is a sequel to the hit comedy movie, ‘Are We There Yet’. In that movie Nick Persons (Ice Cube) is seeing Suzanne (Nia Long) and isn’t too fond of her two cantankerous kids. It takes the course of the entire movie and a road trip, for Nick to win the hearts of Lindsey and Kevin. Eventually, the couple does tie the knot; which is where the new movie starts! Nick is now married to Suzanne and the couple decides to move away from the chaos of the city to the quiet of a suburban life. In order to do the same, the couple finds a house, which they feel would be ideal for the family and decide to shift in. They find some problems with the house, and considering regular issues with a new house, decide to get some help. Enter Chuck Mitchell, Jr. (John C. McGinley). This is the guy who does it all – he is the estate agent, the contractor, the house inspector, the local midwife – he is the man! However, Mitchell has a bizarre way of doing things – one that isn’t agreeable to Nick! His suggestions and antics leave Nick mostly gagged and gaping. And this time around, the kids have a new question to keep asking – are we done yet?
