Plot : April Showers is a drama based on the true events of America’s largest school shooting, directed by Andrew Robinson. The story chronicles the lives of a handful of teachers and students who survive the tragedy bought upon them by one of their own. As the students of Jefferson High try to piece together their lives after the horrific events, they find that the story has caught the attention of the entire nation. While they turn to each other looking for some answers, the misinformation and the media frenzy, resulting from the atrocious crime, causes rifts in relationships. And amongst all this madness, Sean Ryan (Kelly Blatz) tries to cope with the reality of the terrible things he witnessed as well as the loss of his best friend April (Ellen Woglom). Daryl Sabara, Janel Parrish, Illeana Douglas and Tom Arnold, round out the cast of this beautifully filmed emotional drama.
