Plot : Directed by Anand Tucker, And When Did You Last See Your Father, is a drama of a father-son relationship. It’s Blake Morrison’s sincere memoir to his father in the last few weeks of his life. His father, Arthur Morrison, is left with a few weeks of survival after he is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Before visiting his father at the hospital, Blake voyages to his childhood place Yorkshire, to live with his mother. On his father’s condition being worsened than even before, the father-son duo starts sharing their experiences: both the familiarity and the grudges of their relationship. After his father’s death, the movie depicts how Blake explores the eternal depth of such complicated relations, which have love, loss, frustrations, hatred and almost every feeling which most of us have with our parents, as we grow up.
